I am on the faculty of Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., where I teach, write, and speak in public theology. My work is informed by political theologies, critical theories, and social ethics.

My first monograph, Life Among the Powers: A Political Spirituality of Resistance, is now available from Cascade Books. It develops a theology of the “principalities and powers” as subject-forming social structures, which opens to an ethics of the (political) self.
